Ok guys , i am so excited that its currently 3am and i am writing this post with a sleepy eye 🥺.
Finally, i have changed my csc 🥺🥺🥺.
Whoever has changed csc for quicker updates know this and who does not know. Csc- country specific code (basically samsung send updates over to these csc based on regions and priority.)
My case ->
In march i was just wandering on the net and was a little frustrated that samsung is not rolling updates for galaxy f62(current phone). So i came across a post saying csc is a magical something and that if you change it then its brilliant for quicker updates ..
So i googled and changed the cs using the code - *#272*imei no# and got list of csc and chose uk csc or cpw.
Now i was happy as i changed it to cpw or uk csc.
Boooom... I was unable to use Samsung pay ,call recorder feature was disabled and of course no update using settings. I was frustrated like hell. Now i checked over the entire internet (google + bing) i found that mr samsung has disabled the change csc dial up number and it is not reversible ( as f62 has only ins firmware). I was literally stuck. From 6 months every day i was searching YouTube for a possible god who can show how to change csc. I used to use odin for updating software every 3 month and frustrated because i have to download 5gb firmware every time instead of just 300mb security update😭😭.
Used odin to change csc file and experimented everything but it all went to vein and the csc won't change neither the cdc code works anymore in anyway (*#272*imei#)....
Gave up and decided will have to use laptop to update software each time it gets released. Today i was searching for samsung phone and saw a recommended video about frp using samfw tool. Since the tools i searched were all paid and have to give huge amount without guarantee of csc Change ,i never bought any of those. But i installed this one just put pf curiosity and bam, it started atleast (other software always requires login id/pass which is paid like 15$ smthg).
I connected my phone and tried clicking change csc. It showed step 1 fail ,step 2 pass , reboot pass. But didn't reboot and csc was same in setting. After 1 hour i tried to reboot to see will miracle happen. Yes ,it did happen. I saw app installation ,ads etc (samsung things) . And rushed to the settings and saw the csc as ins/ins/ins 🥺🥺🥺😭😭.
After 3 months😵💫 , its been long struggle. I don't recommend u guys to ever change csc in ur lifetime.
