Sports from Google in Now Bar Fix/Solution

Many users are experiencing issues with the Sports from Google in Now Bar. 

You need to follow the following steps to make sure it works smoothly:

First of all update the Google App to it's latest version - 16.27.69.ve.arm64

1. Go to Settings > Lock Screen and AOD > Now Bar.

2. Turn ON the toggle for Sports for Google.

3. Click on Sports from Google

Click on Sports from Google 

3 Options to check

4. Here you need to do 3 settings.

Firstly click on Personalise Search and make sure it's turned ON. Also check whether Sports and your favorite teams, leagues are in the Following section and not in "Not Interested".

Now, go to Web & App activity and turn it ON.

Then go to Sports from Google settings and follow your favourite teams and leagues.

5. After all this open the Google App and click on the top right profile icon.

Click on that profile icon

Then click on Settings.

Click on Notifications 

Make sure Sports Toggle is ON

Here also check out Your Topics to ensure you've followed Sports teams and leagues.

Now Go to Settings > Notifications > Google

Make sure that Show Contents on Lock Screen is ON.

Additionally you can check Notification Categories and enable Sports Toggle 

Make sure you have latest version of Google. 

If Google App is not updated, 

THIS FEATURE WILL NOT WORK. 

If you have updated recently, wait for 24 hours or more until it starts working. Mine started working in 18 hours. 

If the feature still doesn't work. 

Turn off Notifications for Google, uninstall the updates and again update the app. Enable Notifications and repeat the entire process.

2 hour ago . Now how can I enable it ? Not showing in nowbar. How can I enable? I also followed many teams but none here .

If you've updated your Google App few hours ago, then wait until tomorrow. It should start working. If it doesn't then disable Google App Notifications and repeat the process.

Yes sure, you may also restart the Device after downloading the Latest Google System Play Update.

Everything is done, but not working properly 😒 😕. Google and Samsung should fix this issue immediately or as soon as possible.

After seeing your post. Deleted all updates and again updated. Maybe, I should wait for 1 more day. After that, I will tell you, if it's fixed or not.
