To change navigation buttons to gestures on a Samsung phone (or other Android phones), follow these steps:
✅ Steps to Switch to Gesture Navigation on Samsung Galaxy (One UI)
Open Settings.
Scroll down and tap Display.
Tap Navigation bar.
Under Navigation type, choose:
Swipe gestures – enables full-screen gesture navigation. (Optional) Tap More options to choose between: Swipe from bottom (3 gesture areas) Swipe from sides and bottom (Pixel-style gestures)
(Optional) Toggle:
Gesture hints: Shows small indicators at the bottom. Allow back gesture on keyboard: Enables back gestures when the keyboard is open. 🔄 To Switch Back to Buttons
Go to the same screen (Settings > Display > Navigation bar) and select Buttons.
📌 Notes These instructions apply to Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 10 and above (One UI 2.0+). Gesture layout can vary slightly by One UI version and device model.
