Please be assured and to resolve "Fingerprint" issue kindly follow the given below steps:
1) We always recommend to use screen guards form Samsung only. If you are using any 3rd party screen guard/protective film/tempered glass on the phone, kindly try to re-register your fingerprint after removing it by following these steps.
Disable fingerprint settings and then remove the screen guard.
>>>Register a new fingerprint:-Settings> Bio metric and security>Fingerprints>Continue>Set secure screen lock>Start with center.
2) Ensure that the screen protector or the touchscreen on the fingerprint recognition sensor area is not scratched or damaged by objects, such as coins, keys, pens, and necklaces.
If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question) along with screenshots, short videos and error log file, so that we can assist you accordingly.
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.

Tech TalkIn samsung A30s mobile finger print sensor in display. This is not perfectly functional & smoothly functional. In use temper glass finger print performance very worst. Another brand mobile (Vivo)display finger print sensor working performance is excellent. Pls kindly support and improve the sensor
