Tech TalkThanks for replying. my phone didn't fall anywhere. So how come the screen could have been damaged? Also at high brightness the display is fine.
If its still a hardware issue what's the cost for replacing the screen for s9 plus?

To resolve the issue please follow the below mentioned steps:
>Reset the device settings by navigating to Settings >> General Management >> Reset >> Reset Settings.
> Run the device in the safe mode and check the issue.
>Check for the latest device O/S (Settings > Software Update > Download updates manually).
