They are just forcing people to buy the premium subscription.

Upto 3 unskipable is okay.
After 10 unskipable ad it'll be terrible.

Ads at starting of the video are the worst. Put 2 separate ads in between and it will be good. But greedy google won't do it. They want everyone to buy premium and if not, they'll bombard with ads for non premium users. Reports suggests that they also tested locking 4K under premium category (which is actually a sensible decision rather than bombarding non-premium users with ads). Who knows one day we'll need to buy premium to watch video at 1080p.

Not to forget there's also ads at homepage, sponsors in videos, thanks button to support creators by donation, etc.

I totally agree with you.
We don't need 4k cause one must have proper 4k or 2k display to enjoy that.
They removed dislike for users.
God knows what they're upto.
