NOW SAMSUNG TEAM ARE REALLY WORKING HARD ON THEIR OFFICIAL APPS INFACT EACH AND EVERY APP GETS AN UPDATE IN EVERY 3 DAYS.SO WHAT IF SAMSUNG TRY FOR ITS OWN OPERATING SYSTEM AND MAKE GOOGLE APPS AS AN OPTIONAL WHICH WE CAN DOWNLOAD FROM GALAXY STORE AND SAMSUNG START GIVING MAIL SERVICES TOO IT WILL BE MORE AUTHENTIC AND THE BEST PART IS I HATE THIRD PARTY APPS DOWNLOADING AND USING IT SPOILS MY USER EXPERIENCE. IN SIMPLE WORDS FOR EXAMPLE APPLE ITS OWN OS THEIR APPS THEIR PHONE EVERYTHING SORTED MAKE YOUR OWN OS YOUR OWN SERVICES YOUR OWN MAIL SERVICES DONT WANT GOOGLE WHY TO HAVE TWO BROWSERS IN ONE DEVICE WHERE SAMSUNG INTERNET IS LOT BETTER THAN CHROME EVERY SAMSUNG APPS ARE BETTER THAN GOOGLE MICROSOFT AND ANY THIRD PARTY APPS ,EVEN WE DON'T NEET ANY MICROSOFT APPS BECAUSE SAMSUNG NOTES KICKS ASSES OF EACH AND EVERY OFFICE APP.SO PLEASE CONSIDER THIS IDEA OF HAVING OURN OWN SOFTWARE.IF WE ARE BEST THEN WHY TO MAKE OUR PRECIOUS DEVICE COLLUDE WITH SOME GOOGLE MICROSOFT APPS WE WILL STICK WITH OUR OWN APPS IT IS GOOD .TRUST ME THESE APPS ARE AWESOME WE DON'T ANY OTHER APP .JUST SOPT PROVIDING USELESS APPS ON GALAXY STORE MAKE IT MORE SECURE LIKE APP STORE NOT QUANTITY BUT QUALITY IN USER EXPERIENCE.
But I think Google wouldn't agree giving permissions to Gapps for 3rd party OS. It's a competition which they won't like. It's makes it more complicated for the devs from both companies.
Very ambitious requirement. Google have integrated android into everything, users will have hard time not to think about going for iOS or Android.
I doubt this will happen. Nokia and blackberry suffered with Symbian and BlackberryOS. Huawei had no other choice than to develop Harmony OS because of the restrictions from Google. Unless Samsung makes an extraordinary OS with wide compatibility with other devices and appliances like Android, I don't think they can pull this off yet. But yeah, your hope can come true. You never know what's happening in this tech world.
