Hello, I request you to add a splitscreen option right in the long press app icon menu. There are a lot of steps in creating a multitask window, this shall reduce it to a single step. I feel it will be specially useful on tablets, since they are used for multitasking more often.

hey, my device does support the edge panel and I checked these steps. thank you for updating.
however, I would still insist that this involves 4-5 steps to get to the split screen view, which is same as opening the app and turning it to splitscreen.
Long press app shortcut, if possible, will be an improvement as it will require a single step.
