Tech TalkHi all,
I recently switched phone from an S9 to and S21, and when migrating my whatsapps I have successfully done so with my primary whatsapp. However the secondary whatsapp gets stuck at "preparing to restore" messages after supposedly finding my backup.
The regular process of installing dual messenger etc. and activating the secondary whatsapp works just fine, but once it gets to the restore from google drive backup it indefinitely is stuck in "preparing to restore".
The backup is definitely not corrupt, I have re-done the backup from the old phone several times and I can see it OK on my google drive.
Any ideas what to do?

Tech TalkHi,
I am not using a third party application to clone the whatsapp - it is a built in Samsung function for cloning apps.
The secondary/dual app also does not interact at all with the camera so pictures and videos cannot be taken within the app (despite permissions being correctly set). It is unclear if the problem lies with Samsung's cloning of the app, or if it lies within whatsapp. However the primary whatsapp works totally fine as always.
There are issues both with the functionality of the cloned app, and with restoring data from a functional Google Drive backup.
