Hey guys,

So I upgraded my S10 to a S21 in January, all my data was synced/backed up to Samsung Cloud so when I installed my new phone all my data was restored correctly as it was on my previous phone.

Unfortunately my S21 had a manufacturer screen fault this week (screen burn?) So I returned it and it was fixed and covered by warranty. Whilst repairing they factory reset the phone which they did warn me about so I double checked all my data was backed up.

When restoring my data everything returned APART from my camera albums and samsung notes. My WhatsApp images were restored onto my phone but not camera images. I have Google photos so I haven't lost the images, but I am frustrated as all my images were catoragized in my phone. I've never had an issue before when restoring my data, but on this occasion for the first time my gallery had not restored, and also sansung notes ( which again have always restored with no issues).

Everything was synced and backed up. I wonder if its to do with Samsung prompting to sync the gallery with OneDrive, which I would rather not do.

Any suggestions as to why this happened would be appreciated.
