Hi everyone, 
Greetings of the day!
As smartphones are now coming with a lot of in device memory... thus we are downloading apps without much hesitation.
Over a period of time our device accumulates hundreds of applications and if we "run a phone scan" it takes a huge amount of time to fully scan the phone. 

This discourages a user to put the phone on scan for hours... so we don't scan that often... and I am speaking from my own experience. 
So, here is a mini UI suggestion within the PHONE SCAN feature. 
Let's look at the present phone scan option👇🏼
You go to device care and choose phone scan then you will see these 2 screens.

And if you have 100 or 200 apps it is going to scan 1 by 1 all of them and it's going to take time.
And if you have 100 or 200 apps it is going to scan 1 by 1 all of them and it's going to take time...I mean a lot of time may be 5 hours... no user puts the phone down for so long.
Once, I tried to put the phone on scan at night... and thought how clever I was... but the problem with phone scan is it stops if your screen times out.
The solution or let’s say suggestion for secondary UI 
This suggestion can at least scan the apps which user itself thinks may be suspicious or have less trust.

An option for selective apps security scan.
Please, see the UI modifications added to these mockup screens.

The next screen can let you choose which are the apps you want to scan.

The green button saying: Selected Apps Only takes us on the screen where we can choose apps to scan. 
(It populates the app list similar to the one... we see in privacy permissions app list)
