The handling and configuration of apps added to the Deep Sleeping list needs to be improved:

1. If an app added to the Deep Sleeping list is in the foreground, it must NOT be closed automatically.

I was listening to YouTube Music app (which is added to the Deep Sleeping list) yesterday and the app was open, in the foreground. Yet, a few minutes after the screen locked, music stopped playing. The app was NOT closed, as it was still in foreground. Only music playing stopped.

What is the point of leaving an app in the foreground then?

2. An app removed from the Deep Sleeping list is automatically added to the Never Sleeping list.

This should not be happening. The two are not the only options for apps. There are several apps that are not added to either category, so removing an app from one list should NOT result in it being automatically added to the other list. People may not realise this when they remove an app from the Deep Sleeping list.

3. There should be a way to get updates to apps in Deep Sleep. At the moment, updates don't show up if an app is in Deep Sleep.
