Few days back ,I got OneUI 3.0 update based on Android 11 on my Note 10 Lite.
I must say Samsung has improved their software update, delivery by huge margin. Now they are on top compared to other companies in software update. Also this is not only applicable to their flagships but mid range phones also.
Most people have covered great things that OneUI 3.0 brings and I also like those features. But here I am going to focus as part of #InnovationLab on things which should be improved or reverted in next update.
1) Bring back option to hide camera cut out - whether notch OR punch hole. This feature gave users choice which is simply removed now in OneUI 3.0. I know many users still do not like any obstructions on screen.
2) Revert Call Log screen as before for ease of use for dual SIM users - I find this very annoying that good useful feature was removed in UI change. Dual SIM usage is very common in India and most part of Asia. Hence removal of any features should be done after large user base feedback.
3) No option now to rename in Gallery app - This is again dumbing down UI for no specific reason.
4) Floating Notifications earlier used to open app as small app window with option to close. Now after OneUI 3.0 that option is gone.
