Tech TalkIn this modern day lives we use our phones and laptop and other devices daily. Look I am not mental health Doctor nor do I ever claim to be. but there are certian tips where you should make up while using the phones, tabs and other hand held devices. i wanna share something which is related to how we use our tech. so let's address this first.
Why this important for our lives as well, here some tips i would like to share with you all. what we use in our phone. Instagram, facebook, google seraches, twitter and other social media apps right, these are became the part of our lives, which in sense it good and bad as well, Good thing that we live in a hyper connected world which keep our loved ones close through phone, pc and laptops etc. thing is we often neglect our mental needs and our personality traits and often we try to impersonate with some one else of what we are not. Though I know that this is not right place to share these things in the members but yet i am sharing it, what we do with our tech is that we try to ask validation from other people through sharing photos videos, etc i am not saying it bad it is good but do it in a very limited manner sharing 1-2 photos are okay but not more than that.
here are some tips you can follow and care your mental health
1. Uninstall or mute your social media notifications if you are using a laptop/ pc then it is highly recommended to use your social media accounts on laptop only and for the part of uninstalling your social media apps, dont uninstall your messaging apps like whats' app and other similar messaging apps instead use them in laptop/pc that is viable option and further more it will way more less distraction from the phone side. I have been using all my socials in laptop including this members app
2. stop having the urge for clicking photos all the time no matter how much great camera you have in you phone including latest iphone and samsung flagship or mid range does not matters it is all the same, yeah click photos from your phone but like i said rather clicking photos of whole trip only click on or two max, and try to enjoy the nature or any activity by yourself and without recording things on your phone. i am not discouraging not take photos all i am saying is that have limited photos with you.
3. a lot of people claim that they are lonely yes it is true did tech made it worst absolutely wrong having tech with you does not made you feel lonely but instead your urge for seeking validation from people does. there is a famous saying a person who is not comfortable being alone he/she will never be satisfied with the company of others , but seriously all i am saying you that dont follow a creator blindly, because if you follow a creator blindly you will end up being lonely.
4. dont use youtube shorts and instagram reels this will cook your brain and you will lose focus and reduced attention span, if you want to use video then go for the long form content, if music 2-7 min should be the standard, rest of the videos/podcast should be atleast 5 mins long , prefer quality over quantity.
5. Dont follow those creators who are responsible not who crave for the views and create cringe content.
6. and stop responding to bullying specially cyber ones report them to the mod of social media
7. the point of addiction - no one has ever said you that why are you so addicted to reading books and writing things right have you ever questioned this ? no right but when it comes to mobile phones and laptop or any other gadget everyone seems so cautions about it. see i am making this point that any form of obsession is addiction even reading and writing on the books so what i propose give 80% of time a activity whether it is reading writing, same goes with tech
no one in the world will say you that you are addicted to books but when comes to phone you are called as addict. so I am Here implying dont watch reels and shorts too much. and have sometime of rest .
8. stop seeking the hype.
9. dont watch adult content which displays , cuss words, the other things of a body part, infact dont follow those creators who roast people with the use of slang this will effect your brain.
10. have open communication within your family and when you are with your family try not use the phone or laptop or other gadgets this will help you to foster good environment, although i cant claim about connection that depends on you and your family.
11. and go for the walk and try not to use the phone while you walk, run.
12. Use wind down modes like grey scale at night and eye comfort shield/ a.k.a blue light filter when you go to bed, speaking that dont use phone while you are on bed.
the most important thing is that DONT USE YOUR GADGETS TO SEEK VALIDATION, DONT SEEK EXPECTATIONS, USE YOUR GADGETS RESPONSIBLY.

						Nice Article 💯..But in today's era when almost everybody is living in Virtual World, where in actual they have 1-2 friends or even nil, but live with 1-10K followers hence No body cares for such article.. Where we have "Reelophobia", "Likophobia", "Showofbia" etc. etc. I used limited WhatsApp, Facebook, twitter & even Members app nowadays & Strictly no Instagram..
