I would like to convey that even though Jio has promised Stand Alone Network of 5G in collaboration with ericsson and nokia, still 4G speeds are pathetic and the network latency is too high.
Whenever I try to contact Jio customer service they will say "Due to high number of users inder your tower the network speed is low" and they won't even commit a date by when the issue will be resolved. If we complain again and again then the executive will say "It may take anywhere between 6 to 8 months".
Also as per recent data almost 6 cr users ported to Jio from VI and Airtel.As a 3 yr Jio user I can say they the network speed is **bleep** slow especially in the late evening and morning.
It would be more sensible now to port of Airtel or VI bcs Jio is not taking any necessary action to maintain the network speed for a huge number of subscribers.
As an evidence I can share the speed tests of Jio across Delhi NCR, Bangalore airport and Kerala(Alappuzha),Only in the noon Time Jio crosses 40 Mbps.
If you look at VI India even though it averages 12 to 20 Mbps ,I can easily watch 1440p content on YouTube without buffers,reels on Instagram and even join a zoom meet at 1080p.
