The three apps - phones, contacts and messages can be combined to just one like Truecaller. Contacts is just a part of the phone app, so there are just two apps now. This is not a necessary thing and some people also may not like it, but this reduces the extra icons on the home screen and the app drawer as well. Instead of searching for phone and messages seperately, there will be just one app to search for, removing the clutter.
