Our community is brimming with ideas through which we can make your Galaxy experience better! Share your suggestions directly with our teams through Innovation Lab.  Your feedback will be scrutinized to produce possible improvements in customer experience.

This week, we would like to look into the Bixby services, the intelligent assistant that debuted along with S8. The Bixby Voice has been evolving since then and now is even more important as a tool to control both your mobile device as well as home IOT devices. It has access to most of your settings and can access many of your apps, making it quicker and easier to customize and use your device.

Bixby Routines use machine intelligence to learn your specific usage patterns and preferences. It can then use this to automatically adjust your settings, control apps, optimize the battery, and much more.

In addition, Bixby Vision is an image search feature that we use to identify and shop for items, translate text and identify locations.

So, the topics are:

1. Bixby Voice: General feedback on usability and proposals on the voice commands.

2. Bixby Routine: General feedback on usability and proposals on automated routine of tasks

3. Bixby Vision: General feedback on usability and proposals.

All you need to do is:

  1. Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
  2. Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
  3. Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject

We will take a note of all your suggestions! Week 45 topics will be open till 3rd Aug. Week 46 topics will be announced later.

Check out week 44 topics here.

We can’t wait for your innovative ideas!

Cheers

Add Hindi language to Bixby in india and like before Bixby used to track everything. Tracked every activity. It should be that which has been closed now, it should be started again.

Suggestion: There are many apps doesn't support tablets. Opening them from slide panel in pop window would be in perfect screen orientation all the times. It would be perfect to have a bixby routine. If opened from notification panel it would open from pop up window automatically or if an app opened it will directly open in pop view rather than full screen view.

A suggestion :

I usually have series of pictures that require translation or detection. So, instead of going to every photo and clicking bixby vision every time, it would also be cool to just switch on bixby vision so that it gets into scan mode and after I'm done with all the translation I could switch it off. If one UI 5.0 has optical character recognition in camera then it would be close to what I'm saying.
