Our community is brimming with ideas through which we can make your Galaxy experience better! Share your suggestions directly with our teams through Innovation Lab.

This week, we would like to look into one feature in the settings menu that could aid you in controlling the usage of your or your child's phone. It includes menus such as Screen Time Goal, App Timers, Focus mode, Comfort care for audio and also various tools in checking on your kids phone usage.

So, the topic is:

1. Digital Wellbeing and parental controls : Feedback on usability and how it competes against similar features of other brands.

All you need to do is:

  1. Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
  2. Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
  3. Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject

We will take a note of all your suggestions! Week 40 topics will be open till 13th Feb. Week 41 topics will be announced later.

Check out week 39 topics here.

We can’t wait for your innovative ideas!

Cheers

On samsung health ,sometimes steps are not detected.
This is due to step sensitivity is moderate.
There is no control in setting to increase or decrease steps sensitivity.
So this setting may be provided for accurate step counting.

Please add a way to automatic set the app timer in digital wellbeing to certain time
use case: I use instagram a lot so i I set the daily limit to 10 min and every tune i want to check instagram i add 2-3 minutes in app timer. By using this method i have reduced my instagram usage from 5 hours to just 1 hour.
but sometimes i forget to add the app timer and before realizing i have already used it for 1-2 hours.

problem with current feature is that it set the the daily timer to last added time in my case 1 hour. because i added 2-3 minutes for multiple time

Either you can give a feature to set a certain time to an app everyday or you can add a way in bixby routine to reset app timer to 10 minutes

What about improving the"keep screen on while viewing" like I've used Motorola device and their"keep screen on while viewing" is best so far,but in Samsung device you have to stay in front of the device and if not the device will lock itself ,however on the other hand even if it's about to lock the device on Motorola ,you just have to show your face and voila screen's on again, without keep tapping on the screen if face is not detected...

It would be great if we can have multiple features which are already available on digital wellbeing be displayed in widgets, not just steps.
