Innovation Lab #38: Share your ideas with us on Phone, Messages, Contacts!

Our community is brimming with ideas through which we can make your Galaxy experience better! Share your suggestions directly with our teams through Innovation Lab.

This week, we would like to look into the smart phone's most basic applications: Phone, Messages and Contacts. Please let us know your views on the usability and competitiveness of the applications against third party apps or even against those of competitors.

So, this week the topics are:

1. Phone: Feedback on usability and suggestions on latest updates.

2. Messages: Feedback on usability and suggestions on latest updates.

3. Contacts: Feedback on usability and suggestions on latest updates and VOCs on how these apps interact with each other.

All you need to do is:

1. Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
2. Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
3. Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject

Pls make default phone app bit faster, initially in s10+ it was fast, but in one UI 3.1 its lagging and very slow response and lag is almost 3 to 5 sec.. if i install and use google's dialer app its fast like when new phone.

Provide take note feacture during call wen call has been continue then we can write some important msg or note during call and save note on that particular call list.

1. Show network traffic throughput / speed indicator on top screen, for WiFi and mobile networks.
2. Change the language set for OTP prompt on phone when user tries to access Samsung accounts (image attached). It shows Hindi regardless of system language.
3. Dynamic wallpaper changes for home screen.
4. Lock for individual app access, with a biometric / pin, apart from Secure folder.
5. Data usage summary along with weekly app usage report.
6. Sometimes Samsung builtin apps can be updated only when an update notification is displayed inside app. It does not show under updates pending in Galaxy Store.
