I bought my s9plus a few days after it released in Bahrain.....after a year the there was an issue with the screen...I approached Samsung since I was still under warranty.....the technicians there made me factory reset the phone but that didn't solve the screen issues...I told them that the issue is with the screen but they still went forward with the reset.....anyways I gave the phone for a screen replacement and got it back after 2-3 days....but ever since I got my phone back it's never received any software updates....not even the security patch updates my phone is still running android 9 with one UI 1.0....
