In macro mode the focus is fixed at a point, you're supposed to bring the device near to the object you're clicking. Take time, check if the object is in focus and then go for the shot.
In pro mode, you can fix the aperture, the focus, the iso, manually. the bigger the aperture, the more it'll take light in.
Taking control of the shutter speed, lets you decide the time for which the camera can capture.
Longer the shutter speed, higher will be the capturing speed. It can be used in night time or capturing light trails, etc.
On opposite, less shutter speed can be used to click fast moving objects but it'll require ample amount of light.
Yes sure, until you'll not click and play and tweak the settings, how you gonna learn. Do evey sort of changes and click pictures, nothing will go wrong.
