New versions of android look no different, only few features differentiate the versions. Has android lost innovation? Looks like OEMs include features thru their UI, and few hardware support. Hype around the version upgrade has gone.

If talk from features perspective then it was always like that. Yes visual changes are minimal since they launched material you.

Well if you are earning profit with minimal innovation then why even worry about it.

Exactly..... they invade our privacy at all the levels thru policy change.... so they stopped innovation....

Android is now a matured os. Same with iOS. So the upgrades will be minimal

Then, there is no point in new versions...just patches be enough as the OS is less dependant on hardware, like windows OS

Its not like new features aren't introduced. Most of them are behind the scenes like satellite messaging support, better privacy features, better battery performance etc. If you read the android 15 features most of them aren't apparent
