Since smartphones have become an essential part of our lives, the Find My Mobile service can be a necessary preventive measure against the loss of your smartphone. If you have lost your device, try the Find My Mobile service. You can remotely locate your lost smartphone, back up data stored on the device to Samsung Cloud, lock the screen, and even block access to Samsung Pay. You can also delete all data stored on your device.

What should you do if you have lost your device?

Access the Find My Mobile service, then find or lock your device and back up your data.

* To use the Find My Mobile service,

1) You must have set up your Samsung account on your device.

2) You allow Google to collect your location information and agree to the terms and conditions for using wireless networks.

Locate my device

You can track the approximate location and route of your lost device. If you have enabled the Send last location option in Settings, your device‘s last known location before it was switched off will be sent to the server, helping you track the location.

*Availability may vary depending on your device and/or OS.

Lock my screen

You can lock the screen, the power button, and Samsung Pay on the lost device.

Ring my device

If your device is nearby, its ringtone will sound for 1 minute at maximum volume, helping you find the device.

Back up data

You can back up data from your device to the Samsung Cloud server.

* If your device is not connected to a Wi-Fi network, it will connect to your mobile network and this may result in additional charges depending on your payment plan
.

Don't Panic! Go to the Find My Mobile website.

"If someone has replaced the SIM card on your lost device, you will be informed of the new number through a notification on the Find My Mobile website. You can also assign a family member or friend as a guardian via Find My Mobile, and let them locate your device, make it ring, and enable Emergency mode." Furthermore, you can check up to 50 recent calls, prolong the battery life, and, if necessary, back up or erase all data stored on the device.

Unlock your screen even if you've forgotten your password

Even if you have forgotten the screen lock code for your device (e.g., PIN, password, pattern, fingerprints, or irises), you don't need to worry anymore. You can reset the screen lock remotely from the Find My Mobile website.

* You must have set up your Samsung account on the device. When you enable this feature, your biometric data, such as your fingerprints and irises, will also be deleted from the device.

due to this point No.2 we are not going to use this feature as we don't want to Share our location data with google as we don't agree with google terms and condition (this is very dangerous as google uses your location for advertisement purposes) and with this adv based on location it make our brainwash it will make your decision biased by Showing you related ads this is not good for us (you have no idea how much google is earning by sharing your location data with other companies) . If google changes there policy and don't keep our location data & Share with other then we are more than happy to use this feature.
