📱 Green Line or Screen Issue After One UI 7 Update — What to Do and Fix!*
Many Samsung Galaxy S and A series users are experiencing green lines or display issues on the screen after the One UI 7 (Android 14/15) update. This is mostly software-related or due to a sudden glitch in the display controller.
🔍 *Common Symptoms:* - Green lines/lines - Display flickers - Accompanied by heating and battery drain
🛠️ *Possible Solutions/What to Do:*
1. *Safe Mode*: Start the phone in Safe Mode and see if the screen is fine.
2. *Report to Samsung Members App*: → Select Samsung Members App > Support > Error Report > Display Issue. → Send a screenshot and details.
3. *Service Center Visit*: If the issue is handset-based, visit an official service center.
4. *Free Screen Replacement Eligibility Check*: - Samsung offers free screen replacement in some cases if the problem occurs after a software update. - Having an invoice helps, but in some cases it also helps without it.
5. *Avoid Downgrade or Third-party Repair*: This may void the warranty.

Samsung doesn't care if your phone stops working after green.
Screen replacement scheme is only for s20 to s22 series under 3 year with no physical damage
For midrange they don't even think many older a and m series had green line issues they did nothing

To be honest, we have long loved Samsung, but now the problems that are appearing in current Samsung phones after the update are increasing the likelihood of everyone moving away. We should all inform the admins and moderators, as well as raise the problem with the individual Samsung offices in our respective countries, a lot of reforms are needed........

They know about the problems many midrange phones had motherboard failure green line issue they have done nothing so far and as chinese brand are giving better specs in box charger cover midrange customer would switch only when Market share drops they'll give a f*c*k
Just look at m36 they removed punch hole ,6000mah battery kept old Exynos 1380 from m35 3 yr old processor
Chinese brand giving 7000mah battery 44w or more fast charging in box with back cover.
They'll only change when market share drops or they'll keep making such bad phone with years old processor smaller battery notchs.

People nowadays are very aware, they can verify everything correctly, they understand everything, yes I admit Samsung was good but Samsung is struggling to maintain this quality of good, to get good results, of course every phone needs to be reformed. Android mobile is very important to us in our daily life, if we face problems while using it, it is very troublesome. Although I have not faced any problem with the mobile I am using, I have received many reports that many people have faced problems, which can be seen if you look at the Samsung members group, it is very sad and disappointing.

Samsung will never address your issue; they will find some excuse not to fix it and will tell you to replace the display at your own expense. I raised the issue about two weeks ago; they said I have to bear the cost. Now they are not acknowledging my emails. I am thinking of escalating the issue to consumer court; I think we all should do the same.

There is logic in your words, unity helps go a long way. We should all go to the official Samsung offices in our respective countries and raise the problems. If they still cannot provide a solution, then we should go to the law.

I have been continuously emailing and visiting the service center for the past two weeks. Even after a visit today, they said they are helpless unless higher authorities approve the free replacement.
