Tech TalkHaving used the Pixel 8 Pro and the Galaxy S23 Ultra (well, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max) side by side, I can easily say the following with little to no hesitation:
The Pixel 8 Pro looks great; it offers a cleaner software experience (which I like), and it’s cheaper than Samsung’s most premium flagship. Even now (thanks to Google’s Black Friday sale), you can get a brand new Pixel 8 Pro for just $800 despite the fact it came out less than two months ago - the offer might or might not be available when you’re reading this. So, when I prefer using the Pixel 8 Pro instead of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, then how come Google keeps failing to turn its flagship into the “default” Android flagship the Pixel should be?
Given the fact Google pioneered Android, and after years in the phone-making business, how long does Google need to convince people the Pixel is the main event in the Android world?

However, the other reason the Pixel is having a hard time taking over the Android world, and one that’s not really under Google’s control, is Samsung’s tight grip on the Android market.
Of course, I can give you the numbers and tell you about Samsung’s 25% market share in the US versus Google’s 3%, and that Samsung is number one globally, while Google doesn’t even show on the charts, but that’s a given at this point.

Well don't know wat the status in US but in india google's maim enemy is it's own tensor chip set it heats a lot and reason which I figured is tensor can't perform without heating in india coz of weather weird isn't it but yeah it's the **bleep** reason secondly costing of pixel is very high I know s23 ultra is 1.24L 10 to 20k higher than pixels top variant but if u pitch both head on s23 ultra scores big in many areas and pixel kind of becomes overpriced phone and thirdly google's lack of service in india
