Everyone of us has a Google account. Usually we sign it by entering username, then password. But, it is now changing !

Now, many users will get a code in their phone after entering their password, and they have to enter that code for logging in to Google Account on any device.

This is called 2-Step Verification

If you have got any E-Mail from Google regarding the same, your account has enabled 2-Step Verification.

But remember - only some accounts CURRENTLY got this change, not all. Soon, all will get it.

So, keep your phone nearby, when logging in to Google Account any time

And update your phone number to a number that can get SMS properly.

I already use 2 step verification on top of that also use Google authenticator.

This 2 step verification has been there since atleast 2 years. It's not mandatory to turn that on. You can use it or not use it. But, using it is recommended for better security.

It is realy mess....

Once, i reset my device. . So ,My account was not opened in any other device..
and sim card was not working to get otp (sim automatically stoped working) (btw ..there was no option for otp)..
After id/pawsd, then google asked security key. .. that is under (seetings>google>security key) my account was not active so how could i access that codes.(stupid google)..
i had the key-codes backup list but that didnt worked.. 😪.. that time i couldnt open my accont even i knew my id password.. and there was no option of recovery email.

That time was realy mess.. 😪..

I tried... In my second phone j7prime..
That phone didnt asked security code.. dnt know why..... but thank god.. then i was saved..😌
