it all depends on how big the sensor inside the camera is to get the best picture, jitna bada sensor utna accha pic. megapixel aur baki gimmick se ghanta farak nai padta. Iphone 17 ka sensor is bigger than S25, study the facts.

Sensor size matters, but pixels also matter.

Most high megapixel counts require high processing power and storage space.

A 48MP iPhone camera is more than capable of capturing high-resolution images in good detail.  A 50MP camera can deliver the same quality with a slight edge over a 48MP camera.  A 200MP camera provides more resolution compared to a 48MP and a 50MP which means more detailed images.

Only if the sensor is good and bigger. If sensor is not big or bad in quality then MP does not matter

Image quality and light gathering capabilities are primarily influenced by sensor size, while image resolution, which dictates detail and print size, is determined by megapixels.

This observation is particularly relevant to smartphones within the 10k to 20k price range, where a trend of incorporating higher megapixel counts on smaller sensors can result in reduced light capture and potentially less vibrant image quality.

It is also worth noting that, while the iPhone 13 boasts a larger sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, potentially allowing for 20 to 25 percent more light intake compared to the S21 FE's f/1.8 aperture, the resulting image quality often appears Easy win for S21 FE. Processing of the image also matters, and optimization too.
