Your earbuds can connect to multiple Bluetooth devices for streaming music or making calls. You'll get the best experience when using the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone or tablet because you'll have full control over your music.

Let us explore some features of the Galaxy Wearable App when connected to Galaxy Buds /Galaxy Buds plus.

Pairing the Buds with the smartphone is as easy as listening music directly from the phone.Just  take out the Buds from case and they will automatically reconnect with the Phone. Reconnect means that you have already paired your Buds with phone.

To connect a new pair of Buds:

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then tap Get started.
  • Place your earbuds in the charging case, close the lid for 5 to 6 seconds, and then open the case back up.
  • Next, select Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Buds+ from the list of devices.
  • Review the permissions, and then tap OK.
  • When your device is spotted, select it, then pairing and setup will begin.
  • Next, review the information, and tap Agree.
  • Select which notifications you want to receive on your earbuds, and then tap Next
  • Finally, review the tips on getting to know your earbuds, and then tap Finish.
One tap, two taps, three taps....control just with taps:

Both Galaxy Buds will respond to taps and allow you to control music playback or interact with your phone without touching your screen. The number of taps on the middle of the Galaxy Bud will determine what happens:

  • Single tap: Play/Pause
  • Double tap: Play next track/Answer or end call
  • Triple tap: Play previous track
  • Touch and hold: Customizable (see below)

If you tap and hold on either Galaxy Bud when your phone begins ringing, it will decline the call.

Customize the touchpads' actions:
