Galaxy Watch7 Starts Getting One UI 8 Update in South Korea!

The Galaxy Watch7 has officially started receiving the One UI 8 (Android 16) update in South Korea, making it the first watch in the lineup to get the new software. The update brings visual refinements, smoother animations, performance improvements and the latest security enhancements.

• One UI Watch Version: 8.0

• Android Version: 16

• Firmware: L300XXU1BYI4 / L300OXM1BYI4

• Size: ~1.9GB

• Security Patch: 1 September 2025

The update is currently rolling out only in South Korea. Other regions, including India, are also expected to receive it once the phased rollout expands.

Samsung galaxy watch 4 classic one UI 8 Is it available in India?

As of now, the One UI 8 update has not started for the Galaxy Watch4 Classic in India. Currently, no Galaxy Watch model has received the One UI 8 update in India. The rollout has only begun for the Watch7, and that too in South Korea. Once Samsung starts releasing it for other models or regions, I’ll share the update.

Right now the Watch7 update has only started in South Korea and hasn’t rolled out in India yet. Since today is Friday and Samsung doesn’t usually release updates on Saturday or Sunday, the next rollout is more likely sometime next week (Monday to Friday). Once the update begins in Korea, it usually expands globally, so India should also get it soon after. I’ll update here as soon as there’s any news.

Good afternoon! Yes, that information is true. The One UI 8 Watch update for Galaxy Watch7 started in South Korea and is now rolling out globally. It has also begun in India, and I’ve posted separately about the Indian rollout as well.
