Good day. I have been using a Flip5 for approximately 6-7 months and a Samsung Smart Tag 2 for about 8 months. Samsung provides a precise location for the Smart Tag using Ultra-Wide Bandwidth (UWB), but this feature is only available in Samsung's flagship S and Z series. However, in the Z series, it is exclusive to the Fold and not available in the Flip. This is concerning because Flip users also pay a premium price, comparable to the base models of the S series (S24), yet lack access to UWB technology.
Additionally, Samsung does not support the Samsung Dex feature on the Flip, citing concerns about heat control in this form factor. While this reasoning is understandable, it is worth noting that UWB is supported in the Flip series.
Therefore, I propose that Samsung integrate UWB technology into future Flip series devices to provide users with the same level of functionality and features as other flagship models.
