Fingerprint lock disappearing suddenly-number lock alone active

For the past few days I noticed in my s23 ultra the fingerprint lock getting disappeared and number lock alone is active.

This scenario will happen when we restart the phone...but I have not done restart or it is not restarting on scheduled restart.

Please suggest.

Occasionally the phone disables all types of biometric authentication (fingerprint/face unlock) for "security reasons"... Especially if it's been a long time since you unlocked using the pin.
