End of Gallery Sync, Drive, Premium Storage Subscription Features Notice

Important Message on August 2, 2021 from Samsung: 

"Dear Samsung Cloud Customers,

Beginning on 2021-9-30 (Group 1) / 2021-11-30 (Group 2), Gallery Sync and Drive storage for My Files will no longer be supported by Samsung Cloud and your data will be deleted, as explained further below.

[Termination Schedule]

1. 2020-10-5 (Group 1) / 2020-12-01 (Group 2) ~

• No longer be able to newly begin using above listed features
• OneDrive migration and data download available

2. 2021-8-1 (Group 1) / 2021-10-01 (Group 2) ~

• Discontinue existing use of Gallery Sync and Drive
• End of OneDrive migration support (only data download available)
• Cancel the then-current premium storage subscription automatically and refund the last payment
* If you do not have any Gallery or Drive data saved in Samsung Cloud, you will be transitioned to Phase 3 below by skipping download period, within 15 days from the Phase 2 starting date.
* Gradual roll out per user

3. 2021-09-30 (Group 1) / 2021-11-30 (Gruop 2)

• End of data download support and the final deprecation of features subject to end
  

* Depending on the status of service operation, the above schedule may vary without further notice.
* There may be technical delay with the complete removal of data from the Samsung Cloud server.
* For more detailed information, please visit the Samsung Cloud website.

Make sure to download your important data by 2021-9-30 (Group 1) / 2021-11-30 (Group 2).

Samsung Cloud supports data download until the final deprecation date for customers to securely download their data.
When it gets close to the final deprecation date, you might not be able to download your data smoothly due to the increased number of users.
Please make sure to download your data via Samsung Cloud app or web now.

* Data will be completely deleted 60 days after you select Download my data or the final termination date 2021-9-30 (Group 1) / 2021-11-30 (Group 2), whichever comes first.

You can continue to enjoy other features of Samsung Cloud.

You can continue to use other Samsung Cloud features that are not subject to termination (backing up/syncing and restoring other data such as Contacts, Calendar, Notes, etc).

During 2021-8-1~2021-9-30 (Group 1) / 2021-10-01~2021-11-30 (Group 2) use of the Gallery Sync feature via Microsoft OneDrive integration is restricted, and you can use the feature after 2021-9-30 (Group 1) / 2021-11-30 (Group 2).

* After 2021-9-30 (Group 1) / 2021-11-30 (Group 2), you can use the Gallery sync feature via OneDrive but without any data migration.
* This may not be supported in certain countries or device models.

We kindly ask for your understanding that the above schedule may vary depending on the service operation status, but we will do our best to let you safely move or download your data.
