Don't Remove Edge Panels

Hello Beta developers

 As is evident from the announcement, edge panels are being removed in One UI 7.

 But as a long time user of Samsung phones, I feel that the edge panels like Clipboard, Tools, Direct Call are indispensable and Must have features of One UI.

 They do not disturb the overall usage of the phone and come as very handy and important addition as and when required.

 Kindly reconsider the decision to remove them.

I have an idea. Just download the edge panels u want to use and after update they won't be removed.

Tools panel which includes compass, ruler etc and clipboard panel are not available as apks.

I mean download them before updating to one ui 7.

In One UI 7, Samsung has discontinued the ability to download new Edge Panels from the Galaxy Store. While the Edge Panel feature itself is still present in One UI 7, this move suggests that Samsung may be gradually phasing out support for downloadable Edge Panels.

I feel it should not be phased out. It is a valuable addition 😊

Samsung has clearly said existing edge panels ie., those who migrate from one UI 6.1 won't be affected and edge panels will be retained. They also said edge panel app will be discontinued from play store.

Samsung's announcement is for those phones which get released with one UI 7.0 out of the box, viz, forth coming S25 series.
