After considering that the One UI 7.0 release has been delayed by four months already, many (including some of us at SamMobile) were worried that it might force Samsung to postpone the release of the One UI 8.0 update as well. However, according to the initial information received by reliable tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), One UI 8.0 will arrive sooner than previously expected.
While the tipster didn't reveal the exact release time frame, we think it means that One UI 8.0 might not face a delay of 4-6 months after Google releases the stable version of Android 16.

What is new in Android 16?
Android 16 introduces a centralized photo picker for all apps, Health Records, improved audio sharing using Bluetooth LE Audio, edge-to-edge apps for all screen sizes, better support for vertical text, better apps on foldable phones and tablets, and Samsung's Advanced Professional Video (APV) codec.Google also added pro-grade camera features, including hybrid auto exposure, color temperature, and color tint, with the second beta version of Android 16. Third-party camera apps can also capture Motion Photos. There are additional improvements to Ultra HDR (Super HDR on Samsung) as well.

One UI 8.0 is a far cry. Let us get one UI 7.0 first. As I write this post beta programme is not closed.
