Colour Pallet issues

If we use any of colour options in the pallet apart from the default we can not diffentiate between missed calls,answered and dialed. I mean the colour coding won't work. To be more specific missed calls are shown in red, outgoing/incoming calls with green Arrow up and downside. Any suggestions?
