Oppo reportedly testing 240W Charging in their lab which can charge from 0 to 100 in 10 min. They use split cell technology which uses 2 small batteries combined to get 4200 or 5000mah capacity. They use GaN(Gallium Nitrate) Charger which is far more energy efficient and faster than normal silicon charger which apple and samsung uses.

Oppo's current charging capacity is at 150W and 80W which is far ahead of apple and Samsung.

There is no concrete evidence or proof that fast charging harms your battery health. The only requirement is split cells and GaN chargers.Samsung and apple's R&D is far behind in this aspect.

Its a humble request to samsung to at least provide 65 to 70W which can charge the phone in under 45 min.Coming from a OnePlus or Oppo or Realme the charging speed really **bleep** Samsung.

If you are talking about Nord 2 then its issue with motherboard circuit touching the battery leading to a spark. Its not the battery alone causing the issue.
Remember S7 edge, people had a nightmare using it(9/10)units blasted.🤣🤣
