Carrier Aggregation (CA) is the feature of LTE network which allow devices which are compatible with CA to aggregate or combine multiple carriers or bands of LTE network to increase the channel bandwidth.
There are different types of CA with availability of compatible devices that are 2CA, 3CA, 4CA, 5CA.
These number are proportional to indicate the numbers of band can be combined, eg 2CA can aggregate upto to bands and 3CA can aggregate upto 3 bands and these bands could be same as if band 40+40 or could be different as if band 40+band 3 depends on configuration in network and device compatibility.
With these CA feature user wil get huge channel bandwidth with which speed of data rate will be high.
With CA device will get channel bandwidth of upto 100Mhz and peak data rates of upto 100Mbps in downlink and upto 50Mbps in uplink.
