Call recording button awkward position

Whenever i try to record calls manually ....i have to take my phone away from ear ....tap the three dot button ...which triggers proximity sensor and boom the screen goes black....and i have to perform this circus 2 to 3 times and then a small menu opens up....and then i have to select call record......and tadaaa half of the conversation is over by then....

Can't the give a single button near the loudscpeaker button ....so that we can avoid the hassle

Yeah same issue. It's very inconvenient. Hope they bring a change in the upcoming one ui 4 update.
By the way, I found a workaround. In phone settings, I turned on autorecord calls. So, now every calls gets recorded automatically, I just then delete unnecessary recordings when I have time. 😅

Painful jugaad......btw... back tap to record call...or shake your phone to record call...will be even more awesome....

You can do one thing
You can select some list of contacts that will auto recorded
