Tech TalkAfter trying most AI image upscalers available on Android, I kept running into the same problems — cloud dependency, upload limits, privacy concerns, and very little control over how images are processed.
So I decided to build my own.
The app is called RendrFlow. It’s an AI image upscaler and editor that runs entirely on your device — no cloud processing, no servers, no image uploads.
What RendrFlow can do:
AI Image Upscaling
Scale images at 2×, 4×, and 8×
Additional High and Ultra quality AI models
Multiple compute options depending on your device:
CPU
GPU
GPU Burst for higher performance
Image Enhancement
Improves detail and clarity in low-quality or noisy images
Useful for old photos, compressed images, or screenshots
Resize & Resolution Control
Change image size or resolution precisely
Handy for forms, document uploads, or platform-specific requirements
Image Format Converter
Convert between image formats
Supports batch selection (multiple images at once)
Quick Edit Tools
Basic editing features
AI background remover
Eraser tool for manual cleanup
I’m sharing this here: I’m not trying to aggressively promote anything — I’m genuinely interested in feedback from Android users.
Does on-device processing matter to you?
Do you prefer speed or maximum quality when upscaling?
Are these features useful, or is something important missing?
Happy to answer questions about performance, device compatibility, or the AI models are handled locally.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
