Samsung has resumed the rollout of One UI 7, starting in Korea. It is pushing a new stable build to the Galaxy S24 series, even for users who installed the original update last week. This revised version includes important bug fixes that prompted Samsung to pause the original release. The new update should reach Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 models globally in the coming days.
Galaxy S24 is getting One UI 7 once again after a brief pause
On April 7, Samsung released the much-awaited One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 soon joined the party. After an initial release in Korea, the update expanded to the US, Europe, and Canada for these devices over the course of the last week. It was expected to go global early this week.
However, Samsung discovered some serious bugs and pulled the update from its servers mid-way through the rollout. It never specified the bugs that forced the halt, but the company is once again pushing One UI 7 to the Galaxy S24 lineup. Users who installed the big update last week are getting a small hotfix weighing under 300MB for the S24+ and about 450MB for the Ultra.
