Which message app is better Samsung or Google? Which one are you using?

I just use samsung for the sms backup. Otherwise google is better for the following points:
1. Spam protection
2. Message categorisation
3. Auto delete OTP after 24 hours
4. RCS

Message categorization and RCS are there on the Samsung messaging app as well. But I agree that the Google app is better due to Spam protection and OTP auto delete options.

Message categorisation is completely manual in samsung messages. We have to manually create categories and then add conversations to that category. Thats of no use!

Nope, we don't have to. It's automatically created in my case. Check the comments on this post.

There are screenshots and comments about automatic categorization. Somehow, it's not working for a few people. Were you using the Samsung messaging app from the start?

Yes i have been using samsung messages since the day i got this phone. And the message categorisation has been on since then. Still no automatic categories.

That's strange and I don't know why it's not working for some. In my case, I just turned on the feature and it automatically started categorizing messages.
