Tech Talk1. Pin edge panel
One of the most outstanding features of One UI is the edge panel. But to use it, you have to drag it from the panel itself. But when the edge panel is pinned in the side of the screen, it works just like a Windows task bar. That task bar is separated in two parts. The upper part will show the three most recent app, if there aren't any, then it will show are apps: Calculator, Gallery and Calender.
And the lower part will show the apps and app folders you have set and customized it yourself.
Settings >> Advanced Features >> Labs >> Turn on "Pin your favourite apps" >> Open app page in edge panel >> Tap the three bars >> Pin
Just tap the pin icon on the task bar
Most of the android apps supports multiwindow i.e thry can be opened in either split-screen view or pop-up view. Multi window for all apps is an amazing feature. It forces the apps which do not support multi-window, will be supported and can be opened in multi-window view. ALL THE APPS WILL SUPPORT MULTI-WINDOW MODE BUT THEY MAY MALFUNCTION OR CRASH. The app, Samsung Members does not support multi-window view, but after turning this feature on, it will open in both split-screen view and pop-up view.
Before turning this option on:
Settings >> Advanced Features >> Labs >> Turn on "Multi window for all apps"
Every app is not optimized for big tab screens. They are not optimized to open in landscape mode. This features forces the app to open in landscape mode. Select the apps you want to open in landscape mode. There will be two options how to open. One is to open the app in the display's aspect ratio and the other option is to open the app in the app's aspect ratio without rotating the tab. THE CONTENTS OF THE APP CAN LOOK WEIRD AND THE APP MAY MALFUNCTION AND EVEN CRASH. The Flipkart app is not optimized to open in landscape mode. After enabling it, the app will open in landscape mode
Proof:
Settings >> Advanced features >> Labs >> Show Apps in landscape >> Select the app you want >> Select the aspect ratio
