Why Always on display is not available in a12 ? 
And why Always on display is necessary ?

First you ask why AOD is not available. Answer for that would be since the phone has an LCD screen, putting on AOD would be pointless since battery would drain alot.

Then you ask why it's necessary. What's your point?
