Oneui 7.0 released for s24 serieson april 2025. Then ,gradually theyy extended to s23,s22 s21 fecseries,a series now a73 got andriod 15 and sammobiles is saying its last os update which is incorrect.
Look ,a73 was launched in 2022 with andriod 12 oneui 4.1.
It will get 4 years of os updates + 1 year of security patch
That makes it 5 years of update.
So andriod 16 will be the lasyt os update a73 will get

It seems weird to me that A52s 5G and A73 has exactly same identical features except battery and main camera..Still the former is stuck with Android 14 as last Android update with some sceurity updates sprinkles on the top of it.
Yes but thats the strategy. Samsung a52s was launched in 2021 with a promise of 3 os updates but in 2022 samsung introduced 4 years of os,update they included s21 fe 5g s21 series a53 a33 a73 Now a73 5g was launched with andriod 12 with same chip as a52s But samsung wants differentiate it with a52s
Yes I know that..Its some dirty marketing policy considering the chipset can handle the same things like A73 seies.. I see the same unfortunate policy with S23 series as well.. S23 series is theoretically better than S24 series in every way..But that Series is unfortunately stuck with much lower software update policy compare to S24 series.. Anyway it is what it is.. I guess people already knows these stuffs
The best example is what they have did with s21 fe 5g. First they launched exynos in india and after one and half years s21 fe 5g of sd version. To fool ppl.
