As we all know that there is no inbuilt adblocker in Chrome & Samsung browser we can use edge browser instead to browse adfree as it has inbuilt adblock plus.
But unfortunately some users don't like the UI or interface of edge browser. So, this will be the best thing to do for those.
Go to settings > Connections > More > Private dns provider.
Then here use adgaurd private dns host name given by " dns.adguard.com "
This will help you to remove server based ads from apps like browsers, weather app, games, social apps etc.
This can't remove app based ads in apps like YouTube, OTT apps like airtel tv, sun nxt etc. (For adfree youtube, YouTube vanced can be used. Adblocking works in airtel tv sometimes & sometimes not. )
Pros :
1. Log free dns - as per developers this adgaurd whether app or dns never saves the browsing log.
2. Adblock : as it removes most of annoying ads thus secure by helping us to click on accidental pop-ups.
Cons :
1. Filtering : as many say filtering is the pro & con of this adgaurd. Sometimes dns completely blocks some websites, news articles like the hindu, Dc etc instead of blocking just ads.
2. Ad space : in browsers though ads are cleared space is leftout sometimes. Adblocks plus wins in this case as it clears the space too.
Personally i use this dns only while gaming as i use edge browser which has inbuilt adblock plus i don't get issues while reading articles. For weather app i don't care much.
Cloudfare DNS :
Also i use cloudfare family shield dns on router so it applies on all devices for filtering unwanted content also it is secure, fast & log free. ( can't filter ads ).
