Tech Talksimple reason is bcoz of Exynos SoC..
Custom roms for Exynos SoC are difficult to make (don't know why) are there are very few Exynos SoC moders and maintainers.
On other hand Snapdragon and Mediatek SoCs have a wide range of Custom ROMs made for them and have a large no. of Maintainers and Moders for them, they also receive monthly security patch updates and much more.
My Letv le 1s had Mediatek Helios X10 SoC, and it had Custom roms made till 2018
But this is not the case of Samsung unless they provide Snapdragon or Mediatek SoCs

Tech TalkPoco F1 is beast in its budget section due to SD 845, But for game enthusiasts this is the best value for money, but if you're someone who likes to be running with latest technology then Poco F1 is not for you.
Mi Note 8 pro is also a Good one in terms of performance bc of Mediatek's Gaming-Centric Processor G90T, but In my "opinion" I would hesitate a bit before getting my hands into Mediatek powered smartphones bc they have poor battery optimization(Dont know how Mediatek has progressed till now, but back in 2015 it was the worst processor interms of battery management and heating problems)gets heated a lot( note 8 pro also has same issue if you play pubg continuously for a longer time.)
If you game casually(pubg also but not for hours), surf a lot, prefer watching Netflix, Amazon Prime, then Samsung M30s is the best deal. I myself use it and since I indulge only for 30 mins a day pubg, and end up watching in online platforms it gives a massive battery backup to handle a lot of your usage.
Still at the end it is you who is going to use a smartphone according to your own comfort ability so choose wisely..
If you need more help, shoot questions on me...😇
