I got a new tab s7 plus just a year ago and the updates stopped when it reached Android 13 and ui5. It says that my tab is not eligible for further updates. Will my tab work properly and will I be able to download new apps. If so for how many years? I really love this tab and I would like to keep using it. Is there Any way to update the tab?

See everything works there are no issues.
If it's EOL of update cycle has come so it won't get any Android updates and security update.
Rest everything works and if you really want to update:
*WARNING*
root and flash custom rom

It's not recommended tho

It will work just fine... Btw, Tab S7+ has got OneUi5.1 too, pls check it ...
.
Most apps nowadays support old Android versions. In future also this should be the case. So maybe if you keep your device for long enough (~3years) it should work just fine. But it's also true that as the Android versions increases apps' requirements also increases... So after about 2-3 years the device may feel a bit slower for newer apps or after updating apps.

Unofficially, you can try some custom OS for your Tab which can upgrade the Android version. (Not recommended)
