Tab A9 plus update

Purchased tab a9 plus in January with security patch of August month and haven't received any update till date. And will it get one ui 6 update??

Was the security patch of previous year even though you bought it this year,that's odd and you haven't received updates too,this can be a serious problem I think you should contact samsung but it's just my opinion.

Update oneui 6 via Samsung switch app from pc. Then u will get February 24 security update via tablet setting
