Don't worry brother, I am also user of s8+ wifi variant and I also didn't get one ui 5 update. I say this because when you get update and after 2 or 4 days your excitement with be over and hardly you able to differentiate about your requirements with tab, I am not taking favor of Samsung, they should give update but if you don't get update then you shouldn't namaste more worry. I also very excited when my phone S21FE Recive One UI 5 Update but after 3 to 4 days my excitement over🙂. And relise that all functions are almost same which I use day to day life.
Some people who said that go with 5g variant instead of wifi if you want faster update. Then right that S series 5G Tabs got update in November ending. Samsung gave them priority because they charged approx 15k rupees extra only for 5G. Then if you rich people then you can go with 5G tabs. But like me people can wait one or two months extra instead if paying 15000 Rupees extra. I can bay a 5G phone using that 5G phone. Good news is Samsung may do partiality with wifi variant and 5g variant use to provide faster update but all user will get 4 to 5 years update.
