TabletsHave you tried waiting a little more? I also experience this on my Tab S6, assuming that your tablet is slower, it might take even longer.
I too have no idea why it's this slow, but it is and it works. Just try waiting, and if that doesn't work, then try to contact them using their support page.

TabletsI solved the issue by: Settings/Apps/Messenger (Googles) and Disabled it. Then restarted the tablet. Worked like a charm. It'll be the messenger app that asks you to scan the large QR code to sync to your phone. Easy peasy!
